Matching Scholarships
Three scholarships are being offered by the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation. These scholarships will be funded going forward through matching contributions. The Excellence in Education Scholarship, the Coach John Carle Scholarship and the Panther Pride Class of 1971 Scholarship will be awarded as matching scholarships The initial contribution to establish these scholarships came as a result of a donation from Paul and Lori Husted of Great Falls, Montana. Paul is a member of the KHS graduating class of 1971.
The Excellence in Education Scholarship will recognize the influence our educators have had on the lives of students who have attended the Knoxville Community School District. If you would like to honor a teacher, or teachers, who have made an impact on your life.
In order to encourage additional contributions, Paul and Lori Husted have pledged to match contributions to the scholarship up to $20,000. A contribution in any amount to recognize a current or former Knoxville educator will be matched by the Husted‘s. If you would like to honor a teacher, or teachers who have made an impact on your life, you can do so by making a contribution to this scholarship. Contributions will be placed in the Foundation’s Endowment Fund. Growth on those funds will provide financial assistance to future generations of Knoxville High School graduates as they pursue their post-secondary education dreams.
Additionally, contributions to the Panther Pride Class of 1971 Scholarship or the Coach John Carle Scholarship will also be matched up to a total of $15,000 for each scholarship.
All three scholarships will be offered to students attending a trade school, working on apprenticeships, pursuing an associate’s degree or a four-year college degree.
