MIKE AND MARY KEEFER FAMILY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Keefer family has been active members of the Knoxville community since Mary started her teaching career in the 1974 school year. After 33 years teaching math, Mary retired, only to have 8 more years in the classroom as a substitute teacher. Her husband, Mike, spent 33 years at Pella Corporation before starting his own time in the classroom as a Middle School associate for 10 years.
In addition to teaching, both Mike and Mary have coached numerous teams, 9th grade girls’ basketball and volleyball and 7th grade girls’ track and volleyball for Mary, 7th and 8th grade football and 7th basketball for Mike. Their teaching and coaching also extended to their two sons, Matt (2001 KHS graduate) and Kenny (KHS Class of 2003). Mary has served on the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation Board and the Athletic Hall of Fame Board since their inception.
After giving back to the community and Knoxville youth for over 50 years, Mike and Mary are proud to provide this Endowed Scholarship through the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to future generations of KHS graduates as they pursue their educational dreams following graduation from Knoxville High School.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR ROXANNE CALDWELL-FEE
The Board of Directors of the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce a new scholarship to be offered to Knoxville High School graduates. The family of Roxanne Caldwell-Fee has recently established a memorial scholarship in her honor. This scholarship will first be awarded in 2026.
Mrs. Caldwell-Fee was an educator at KHS beginning in 1976. During her 20+ year career, she had a positive impact on many students and enjoyed seeing each one reach their potential and strive for success. She especially loved helping young people find their passions and talents, steering those who didn’t believe they could succeed to a brighter future. Hundreds of students benefitted from her kindness and encouragement and this scholarship helps continue her goals.
